Our Story

A community built with intention.

Pedrisi Schools was founded in Lekki, Lagos with a simple but ambitious idea — that an international school in Nigeria can be world-class in its standards while remaining unapologetically rooted in Nigerian culture, language and identity.

From its earliest days, the school has welcomed children from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds. That diversity is not a bonus feature; it is part of how our pupils learn empathy, curiosity and a confident global outlook.

Year after year, the campus on Pedrisi Street has grown — adding facilities, programmes and a strong community of teachers, parents and alumni who all believe in the same mission: nurturing role models for tomorrow.

Teaching Philosophy

We believe every child learns best when they feel safe, seen and challenged in the right measure. Our classrooms are designed for active inquiry: questions are welcomed, mistakes are part of the process, and progress is celebrated.

Our teachers blend the British curriculum's academic rigour with the Nigerian curriculum's cultural depth — so a Pedrisi pupil graduates ready for university anywhere in the world, while still knowing exactly where home is.

Beyond academics, we make deliberate space for music, art, ICT, sports, public speaking and service — because role models are made in the round, not on a single subject.

Pedrisi School was founded on the 5th of September 2011.
